Small Market Farmer Network Welcome to the beginnings of a network of local small market farmers who offer wonderfully delicious products fresh from the farm. If you're a small market farmer whose customer base is in the Washington, DC/Baltimore/ Northern Virginia area, feel free to contact me to be added to the network. You might be surprised to learn that their are many talented growers involved in creative and enterprising small farm operations, virtually in your own backyard. Our feature farm this month is Bear Spring Farm in Middletown, Maryland. Click here for more information about BEAR SPRING FARM. Regarding my own Lin's Garden, I intend to use my faithful friends and family as market guinea pigs to taste test the varieties of veggies I grow this season. Next season, I hope to increase the amounts and varieties of produce I can raise by growing significantly more bedding plants and nurturing them to harvest on a suitable plot yet undisclosed. A sample order form for summer/fall 2003 will be posted in September.
